| At 7 Springs Farm, we have a training program that prepares horses for many obstacles you might meet on the trail. We start with ground work based on Clinton Anderson's techniques. When the horse is ready we teach him how to walk, trot, and canter, back up, and side pass under saddle. We then expose him to water crossings and bridges, logs to step or jump over, opening and closing gates, forest trails, highway traffic, railroads, and a variety of other animals he might see while on the trail. All of our horses also have experience working cattle. | |||||||||

We have ridden Belle alone and in groups, and she's been trailered all over for trail rides. Anyone could ride her. She is one of our horses we let our friends with hardly any experience ride when they come to visit. |
